Tin doped Indium Oxide (ITO) is n-type semiconductor. It has goods electronic conductivity at room temperature. With a broader forbidden bandwidth, its intrinsic adsorption limit to light lie in Ultraviolet region and results in high transmittance to visual light. ITO film shows good resistance to alkali but not to acid. It can be etched easily by mixture of HCL and HNO3. These characteristics make ITO film coated on ultra-thin glass to be the most suitable material for manufacturing transparent electrode of Flat Panel Display(FPD). Normally, alkali ions migration from glass inside will form a conductive layer with moisture on glass surface when in wet environment. It will lead to blooming or flatting of electrode pattern. Therefore, it’s necessary to coat a layer of SiO2 between ITO and glass surface as barrier layer to assure the reliability of device. We select quality ultra-thin float glass as coating substrate from the famous suppliers in the world, the glass are inspected and washed then loaded into vacuum system for coating in clean class 100 area. We can provide fine polished glass substrate and TN , STN and Touch Panel glass for LCD and Touch Screen use. |
