Silk-screened Glass is the ceramic frit that is silk-screened and the fire-fused to the glass surface during the heat-treating process. The process provides a durable architectural material that offers both aesthetic and performance benefits. The silk-screen can be applied to clear or tinted glass, and incorporating solar reflective coated glass and Low-E coated glass. The silk-screened glass is two to five times stronger than annealed glass and also reflects and absorbs some solar energy.
The silk-screened glass can reduce glare and decrease solar transmission. Standard and custom silk-screened patterns, as well as low-e and reflective coating to achieve specific design, transmission levels and solar control options.
Standard Colors: White, Black, Grey, Green, Blue, And Bronze.
Standard Patterns: Dots, Holes, Lines
